HIS

As a follower of Jesus Christ and an artist, my work is largely an overflow of my intimacy with God. The path I feel God leading me is that of reconciliation. I am instantly attracted to the broken or needy. Whether this translates through people, places or things I’m compelled to engage with them.

This is a burden God has laid upon me from a young age and is the driving force behind my work. In my paintings and drawings I exploit the 00material, I explore every line possible. My subject matter is passionately scrawled out and then I layer continuously while adding nuance details. In my own way I reconcile the wrongs and injustices that are made aware in my pieces. My art is simply to glorify God and facilitate His kingdom on earth.

His love is my love and that is people, His hate is my hate and that is injustice and oppression of the helpless. I seek through my life to continue to grow as a believer and artist maximizing the gifts God has graciously given me. “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.” -Albert Einstein
