Exhortation is a series of paintings that has been in my heart and mind for some time. Each image deals with different aspects of what it means to align oneself to the plans and purposes of God. My technique involves many layers of varied mediums.

I use different forms of drawing and painting materials.

I begin with a rough sketch in chalk or I will often draw in ink and then begin to layer until the image is is finished.

In this body of work, I seek to create a two-dimensional environment that invites the viewer into new and awe-inspiring places.
